The first bri[c]k(e)
Here we go. I have now been working on digitalbrikes for almost two months. That is a bit more than I would have liked in terms of time to market.
Granted I was not spending my fulltime on it and I got distracted by the birth of my second daughter. And also I have to accept that design (as you may have noticed by now) does not come to me naturally, even with the help of a recently acquired book on which I will comment more in my next post. Yet I am pretty happy with the result as my first shot. I can confirm that for me customizing wordpress themes is still a terrible pain. I hope it will get better as I continue to refine the look of this blog. Unless one of you dear (imaginary ?) readers convinces me this design is not worth anything and I short restart from scratch.
Up until now this has been a very useful and entertaining exercise but now is the time to go live. I intend to publish at least one post a week, possibly less during vacations, hopefully more but I don’t really imagine having the time for more.
Next post: White Space in my Software.
